Mathematics-A World Of Possibilities…

RandolphI have fourteen years teaching experience. Through my experiences I have learned to emphasize examples and counterexamples as my particular style of teaching. This allows the student to zero in on the

essence of the problem. This style of teaching enables me to create an atmosphere in which the students feel at home and relaxed and not intimidated. I have discovered such

an atmosphere is conducive to learning. In creating this type of learning environment students are able to develop their critical thinking and creativity skills that are so essential for mathematics. I perform proofs in all my classes to broaden my student’s mathematical knowledge and enable them to digest new material more easily.
